About SteadyPips
SteadyPips provides free, rules-based trading tools and educational content for forex traders of all levels. It is an independently operated site, not a brokerage, a fund, or a regulated financial adviser — what follows is a plain description of what we publish, how it is produced, and how the site is funded.
What We Offer
- Free Expert Advisors — Systematically built and backtested automated trading systems for MetaTrader 4 and 5
- Daily Market Analysis — AI-assisted technical and fundamental analysis of major currency pairs
- Trading Education — Articles covering everything from forex basics to advanced strategies
- Trading Signals — Free signals delivered via our Telegram channel
Our EAs
We develop and distribute seven Expert Advisors that implement well-established trading strategies with robust risk management. Each one ships in both MetaTrader 4 (.ex4) and MetaTrader 5 (.ex5) builds:
- SteadyPips EA — A trend-following system using EMA crossovers with ATR-based risk management
- GridMaster EA — A grid trading system with built-in drawdown protection
- BreakWave EA — A Bollinger Bands squeeze breakout system with an ADX trend filter
- TripleAlign EA — A trend-following system requiring triple EMA (20/50/200) alignment plus ADX confirmation
- SnapBack EA — A mean-reversion system that fades 3-sigma extremes with RSI exhaustion confirmation
- QuickPulse EA — A contrarian system that buys fast-RSI washouts with a tight stop and a wide target
- DualHorizon EA — A two-timeframe trend rider gated by the H4 trend direction and ADX strength
All EAs are provided free of charge and include built-in risk controls — hard stops, drawdown gates, and position caps. These limit how much a single configuration can lose; they do not make automated trading safe, and none of our EAs is expected to be profitable in all market conditions.
Every performance figure tied to these EAs is a hypothetical, backtested result, not a live trading record. We have no verified live track record and do not present one. Our performance page publishes the exact test conditions, test windows, and results for each EA — including the pairs that failed our internal quality gate, stated alongside the ones that passed, rather than quietly omitted. Hypothetical results carry inherent limitations: they are produced with the benefit of hindsight, no money was ever at risk, and simulation cannot fully reproduce slippage, requotes, or liquidity gaps. Backtested performance does not indicate future results.
Our Mission
We believe every trader should have access to quality trading tools regardless of their budget. Our EAs implement well-documented strategy types with explicit risk controls, and we publish the test conditions behind them rather than asking you to take the results on trust.
How the Operation Works
SteadyPips is an organization-run site, not a byline written by an individual analyst or trading guru. There is no editorial team, no analyst bench, and no invented author personas attached to our articles — we do not think a fictional credential would make the content more trustworthy, so we do not add one.
The site runs on an AI-assisted content and EA pipeline with human oversight, described in full on our editorial policy page. In short:
- Content — market data is pulled from broker and market-data feeds on a schedule; drafting of articles, daily analysis, and weekly outlooks is AI-assisted, working from that data against fixed editorial templates and rules; a human operator sets those rules, reviews output, and is accountable for everything published.
- Expert Advisors — candidate strategies are generated as parameterised rule sets within fixed constraints (every trade must carry a hard stop; no martingale or loss-averaging logic), backtested over historical data with spread modelled, and only released if they clear an internal quality threshold — our own bar, not an industry standard, and clearing it is not a promise of future performance.
- Standing rules — no guaranteed or promised returns in any timeframe, no performance figure published without a backtested/hypothetical/as-of label, no fabricated testimonials, and no suppression of results that tested badly.
What this process is good at: consistency, coverage, and keeping technical detail current. What it is not good at: judgement calls, unusual market conditions, and anything requiring lived trading experience. Read our daily and weekly market posts as structured summaries of what the data shows, not as expert forecasts — and read a second opinion elsewhere before acting on any of it.
How SteadyPips Makes Money
We are funded in two ways, both disclosed on the pages where they apply:
- Introducing Broker commission from XM. SteadyPips is an XM Introducing Broker. When you open an XM account through one of our links and trade, XM pays us a commission derived from your trading activity — the commission comes from XM, not from you, and you pay the same spreads and fees as any other XM client. Our EAs require an XM account registered through our system, which is how the IB relationship is verified and how the EAs stay free. Full detail: affiliate disclosure.
- Advertising. Pages on this site may carry third-party display advertising. Advertisers have no input into our content, and an advertisement appearing on a page is not an endorsement by us.
The incentive this creates, stated plainly: we are paid when readers open XM accounts and trade, which gives us a financial reason to encourage account opening and trading activity. We do not accept payment for a specific verdict in a broker review, and the commission does not change what market data or a backtest shows — but the incentive exists, and we would rather name it than have you find it yourself. Our editorial policy covers this conflict of interest in more depth, along with our corrections process.
How It Works
- Open an XM trading account through our partner link
- Register your MT4 or MT5 account number
- Download and install your chosen EA
- Let the EA trade automatically with built-in risk management
Transparency: SteadyPips earns revenue through the XM Introducing Broker program and third-party advertising. When you trade through an XM account opened via our links, we receive a commission. This allows us to provide all tools and content for free. Full disclosure
